About Us
Scrubbles Cleaning Service
A New Era for Scrubbles
While Scrubbles has been serving the Gig Harbor community since 1981, the business came under new ownership and management in 2024. Today's Scrubbles continues that longstanding local presence with a renewed focus on professional employees, clear communication, dependable scheduling, and consistent cleaning quality.
If you've known Scrubbles in the past, we'd love the opportunity to introduce you to the company as it is today. We're proud of our local roots and excited about the direction we're taking.
A Local Company, Not a National Franchise
Scrubbles is independently owned and operated in Gig Harbor. Owners Kelley and David are actively involved and available through our local office.
We are not an out-of-touch national franchise, remote cleaning service, or third-party referral company.
We employ our own professional cleaning staff rather than connecting customers with independent contractors. All employees are W-2 team members, and all new hires are background checked and screened before joining our team.
Personalized Home Cleaning Services
We specialize in residential home cleaning, with services tailored to each home and household. Our services include:
Recurring house cleaning: weekly, every-other-week, and monthly
Initial cleaning and deep cleaning
Move-in and move-out cleaning
One-time and special occasion cleaning
Seasonal home refreshes for second residences
Cleaning coordination for loved ones such as seniors, family, or friends
Wellness service while recovering from surgery or during treatments
Each client's home receives a customized work order based on its layout, cleaning needs, and preferences.
Professional Standards and Accountability
Scrubbles is licensed, bonded, and insured. All new employees undergo background checks, receive training, and work from detailed customer-specific cleaning instructions.
We stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee and conduct quality checks to help maintain consistent service.
We also believe in treating our employees well and maintaining an employee-focused workplace. A supported, professional team is an important part of delivering dependable service to our clients.
Reliable Scheduling and Personal Communication
We understand that inviting a cleaning company into your home requires trust and dependable service. We have a reliable rotating schedule and start times you can plan on for consistent service.
Our local Gig Harbor office team coordinates scheduling, customer communication, and service support. Clients have a real local team to contact rather than an automated call center or third-party booking service.
We believe great service starts with clear understanding. Our team is able to communicate with clients without language barriers, making it easier to share preferences, ask questions, and ensure everyone is on the same page.
